Final Fantasy: Black Mage

Another special job class featured in several game installments of Final Fantasy, the Black Mage is the offensive magic caster of the Warriors of Light. Although they are ill-suited for wielding weapons and have the lowest HP out of any character class, Black Mages are capable of inflicting negative effect spells that cause great damage to their opponents. They have weak combat skills but can easily bend destructive magic spells to their will.

A rather interesting interpretation of the Black Mage by Alodia Gosiengfiao! I love her pointy ears and mini wizard hat. Thanks again to Jei for sending this in!

G.I. Joe: The Baroness

Cobra's Intelligence Officer and lieutenant to Cobra Commander, The Baroness is a dark, sensual, femme fatale whose beauty is matched only by her ruthlessness. She has a romantic relationship with Laird James McCullen Destro XXIV, weapons manufacturer and supplier to Cobra. The Baroness’ real name is Anastasia Cisarovna aka Anastasia DeCobray who was on hand for the Tet Offensive in 1968.

Alodia Gosiengfiao makes such a convincing Baroness, even competing with Sienna Miller who played as the Baroness in the live-action movie, “G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra”. Thanks to Treb for sending this in!

Yukari Hayasaka is a high school senior who attends a college cram school. Her nickname "Caroline" was given to her by Miwako. She is an adolescent girl who questions her own life and worries over just about everything. She gets scouted to be a model due to her tall figure and good looks.


While, Miwako Sakurada is the mascot of ParaKiss. She is the younger sister of Mikako Kouda who is the creator of the Happy Berry brand and was the leading character in Ai Yazawa's previous work,"Gokinjyo Monogatari".



Alodia and Ashley did two songs – Paradise Kiss’s Opening Song “Lonely in Gorgeous” and Final Fantasy X-2′s “Real Emotion”

Witchblade: Amaha Masane and Shiori Tsuzuki

Sisters Alodia and Ashley Gosiengfiao represented Team Philippines in the recent Anime Festival Asia (AFA) 2009 held in Suntec Convention Center, Singapore. The sisters performed a short skit in their Witchblade cosplay with Alodia as Amaha Masane and Ashley as Shiori Tsuzuki.

Dream of Teenager: Lahoo and Shall

Dream of Doll’s “Dream of Teenager” is a collection of ball jointed dolls. Featured in this photo are two of the most well-known cosplayers in the Philippines, Jin Joson as Lahoo and Alodia Gosiengfiao as Shall.

Ever since I posted Jin’s photo as Ishida Uryuu, there’s been a non-stop debate with regards to Jin’s gender. As for myself, I’ve given up trying to figure it out unless Jin would like to comment and let us all finally know what the truth is.

Either way, this is a really good cosplay of Lahoo and Shall. I never thought people would actually try and cosplay real dolls and succeed so well. Thanks to Tricia Gosingtian and Jin for the wonderful photography!
